We provide free, confidential, impartial advice on benefits, debt, housing, employment and consumer rights to anyone who lives, works or studies in Hammersmith & Fulham.
What is this service?
We provide a skilled handyperson to carry out jobs such as fitting door and window locks, putting up shelves, building flat packed furniture and hanging doors.
The cost is £50 per hour (inclusive of VAT and parking) plus the cost of materials. There is a minimum charge of 1 hour.
A discount is given to people receiving a means tested benefit. This service is run as a social enterprise so any surplus is re-invested into the charity and used to assist those in need in the local area. This service is available to all H&F residents.
We are unable to carry out electrical, plumbing, decorating or gardening work.
