Our Mission: to inspire and mobilise volunteers to tackle the issues that matter

Hammersmith and Fulham Volunteer Centre promote, support and develop volunteering within the borough. We provide information, advice, guidance and training to individuals and empower them to find volunteering opportunities that meet their skills, interests and aspirations. We are committed to assisting local charities and non-profit organisations in the pursuit, provision and growth of volunteering within our community.

For individuals:

We are offering a phone interview system where advice can be given to prospective volunteers. We will send opportunities by email following the phone interviews or in response to email requests where a phone interview is not practical.

Our face-to-face services are taking place at local Job Centres by appointment and at the Macbeth Centre every week during term time. We also offer some face to face appointments at the local Job Centres and libraries. Please contact us using the details below.

For organisations:

We will offer a call back and email based confidential support service for issues around Volunteer Management or Recruitment. This can be by phone, Zoom, or Teams.  We will continue to promote and advertise opportunities and events sent to us by email.

We also offer consultation Cafes where we can meet representatives of organisations in person or on-line do discuss detailed issues. 

We also offer training and networking events including Volunteer Organisers’ Forums

Our Volunteer Fairs allow individuals to meet organisations looking to recruit, these happen through the year.
