Carers Network supports adults caring for partners, family members, friends and neighbours aged over 18 with disabilities and long-term conditions or experiencing frailty due to old age.
These could be care needs arising from for example chronic illness, a disabling condition or simply frailty; for example: aging needs, cancer, stroke, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, brain injury. They provide one-to-one assessments, an information and advice service, support groups, drop-in sessions, coffee mornings and a weekly carers’ e-newsletter.
In addition, they have a programme of events, activities and training, including regular sessions focussing on wellbeing and mental health.
Carers Network’s services are available free of charge to unpaid carers living in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, the City of Westminster and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
Carers Network has helped nearly 8,000 local carers get access to the support they deserve.
