The Naz Project is a community-led charity dedicated to addressing health and healthcare inequalities of Black, Brown, and Global Majority and LGBTQI+ communities. We have 33 years of experience providing culturally-specific interventions, focusing on communities disproportionately impacted by poor mental, sexual, reproductive, and HIV outcomes.
Our work involves:
-
Providing free STI and reproductive health screenings.
-
Providing confidential and culturally-sensitive individual, couples, and group counselling services in 12 community languages.
-
Providing free reflexology sessions to those experiencing chronic illness or pain.
-
Providing bespoke case working to those in complex situations (facing homelessness, battling addiction, dealing with comorbidities etc.).
-
Hosting culturally-specific and professionally-led peer support groups for marginalised communities.
-
Delivering educational workshops and training on sexual health, mental health, and HIV prevention and management to at-risk community groups.
-
Delivering Anti-Stigma Campaigns.
