What is this activity?

We are delighted to launch our newest gardening and greening project – Frank Banfield Park.  The Community Garden is now open, and we offer volunteer opportunities every Thursday morning 9:30am to 12pm. For more information please fill out this form or email [email protected]

On the first Saturday of each month we are open for family gardening 9:30am-1pm. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Frank Banfield Park is named after a former Mayor and Alderman of Fulham who served the area for 26 years and died in 1960. The park was laid out in the 1970s as part of the Fulham riverside development and was refurbished in 2008. The new Community Garden is the latest project to improve the park’s biodiversity and develop a community of local gardeners. HCGA is partnering with the Friends of Frank Banfield to provide regular community activities for the whole family.

What we offer?

  • Weekly gardening group
  • Once a month weekend family gardening
