What is this service?

We offer a nutritious hot meal free of charge to the homeless and those in need every Sunday evening from mid October to the end of April. We serve halal meat and provide vegetarian options. We pride ourselves on offering healthy food, with fresh vegetables and fresh fruit. The menu varies from Sunday to Sunday, depending on who is cooking.

We also provide groceries and good quality second hand clothing, when available.

Tea and coffee is served in the church from 6.30pm. Supper is usually served at 7.30pm. We ask our guests to leave by 9.15pm.

No pre registration is required. We operate on the basis of first names only.

If a guest is drunk, on drugs, aggressive or otherwise badly behaved, they will not be admitted and will be asked to leave. We treat our safeguarding obligations very seriously and are also keen for the evening to be enjoyable and fun.

We usually feed 75 to 85 guests every Sunday.
