Since 1966 Fulham Good Neighbours has supported older and disabled people in their homes, gardens, community, community centre, and online. We support almost 500 older and disabled people a year, supported by over 100 local volunteers. Decorate/DIY/Gardening/Digital Inclusion/Befriending and more.

What is this service?

Decorating & DIY – support around the house with painting, decorating, assembling of furniture, etc. • Gardening – • Adopt a Garden – befriending & gardening support • Online Gardening workshops – delivered in partnership with Nubian Life Support in the Community via: • Good Neighbour Scheme - shopping, transport, errands, etc • Befriending – volunteers matched with beneficiaries to have 1:1 regular chats via telephone or in-person • Social Clubs – • Digital Support • Art • Choir • Craft • Chair Based Exercise • Lunch • Reading • Silver Lunch • Support Online via: • Online Chair-Based Exercise – supervised exercise activities directly in the homes of beneficiaries online • Digital Inclusion support – 1:1 digital support, device lending, digital drop-in, wifi connectivit
