Community Advocacy empowers people to make informed decisions, advocate for themselves, and to understand information about a range of issues. Community Advocacy is provided by HF Mencap, HFAN's specialist provider.
Since 1966 Fulham Good Neighbours has supported older and disabled people in their homes, gardens, community, community centre, and online. We support almost 500 older and disabled people a year, supported by over 100 local volunteers. Decoratin/DIY/Gardening/Digital Inclusion/Befriending and more.

Support at home and in the garden
Decorating & DIY – support around the house with painting, decorating, assembling of furniture, etc.
Gardening – • Adopt a Garden – befriending & gardening support • Online Gardening workshops – delivered in partnership with Nubian Life
Support in the Community
Good Neighbour Scheme - shopping, transport, errands, etc
Befriending – volunteers matched with beneficiaries to have 1:1 regular chats via telephone or in-person
Social Clubs – • Digital Support • Art • Choir • Craft • Chair Based Exercise • Lunch • Reading • Silver Lunch
Support Online:
Online Chair-Based Exercise – supervised exercise activities directly in the homes of beneficiaries online
Digital Inclusion support – 1:1 digital support, device lending, digital drop-in, wifi connectivity
Location information
Fulham Good Neighbours centre, Rosaline Hall, will be undergoing an extensive refurbishment between the period of Monday 17th August to Monday 16th November 2026 to update our facilities.
Services and activities will relocate to Dawes Road Hub, 20 Dawes Rd, London SW6 7EN, during the period and are due to continue uninterrupted .
