What is this service?

Action on Disability is directly contracted to provideDirect Payments Support Service in  Hammersmith & Fulham. We support residents who receive Direct Payments to make informed choices and arrange the best care and support for their needs. 

Commissioned by the Council, our service offers:

  • Independent advice for resident on how to use Direct Payments

  • Guidance to help you make informed decisions about your care and support

  • A twice-monthly Peer Support Group, where participants share experiences, information, and problem-solving advice

###Training and upskilling

Our Direct Payments Training helps Disabled people, carers and Personal Assistants build the knowledge and confidence to manage support, understand rights and work safely and respectfully together.

The training is practical, accessible and designed around real experiences of living independently and employing PAs.

Whether you’re new to Direct Payments or want to strengthen your skills, our sessions offer clear, supportive guidance.
