What is this service?

This fortnightly pantry service redistributes nutritious surplus food rescued from across the supply chain. By doing so, it helps tackle food waste while making good food accessible to everyone in the borough. Each household typically receives 10–15 kg of groceries, including fruit, vegetables, and everyday essentials. Fresh and ambient food will be available to collect, offering a wide range of food that will help support a weekly food shop, and create access to healthy and nutritious food. Most importantly it will stop good food going to waste.

Beyond the groceries, visitors are invited to stay for a meal or refreshment, connect with neighbours, and access onsite advice and support services. The Nourish Hub Pantry aims to reduce isolation, fostering friendship, and promoting wellbeing.

So, bring your own shopping bag and join us at the Nourish Hub’s Community Pantry, where good food meets good company
